Message from Adjunct Professor Dr. Vichai Thianthavorn

President of Praboromarajchanok Institute, Ministry of Public Health.

Welcome to the 1 st Cross-Cultural International Conference on SKT, an Integrative Caring and Meditation Healing Exercise: CD and NCD caring, to be held from 3rd-5th December 2021 in Chiang Mai; Online and Phetchaburi; Onsite, Thailand. It is such a privilege to welcome you to this great gathering of health researchers and scholars. Thank you, the committee gave me this opportunity to warmly welcome you and share my perspective about Praboromarajchanok and this conference.

Praboromarajchanok Institute is a higher education institution with the capability of teaching and training students for them to get valuable health knowledge. The ideology of Education for All, All for Education promotes self-learning throughout life by encouraging students to think critically, be leaders, and take responsibility for their professional and social development. Finally, graduates will have morality and ethics, kindness, volunteerism, and a human heart for service.

Despite substantial improvements in NCD and CD therapy in the last few decades, a knowledge-to-practice gap remains, with NCD patients, such as hypertension or diabetes mellitus, continuing uncontrolled. The conference may provide you with information and practice on how to care for the illnesses from participants.Furthermore, I believe that practicing mediation follows the Buddhist's basic principle for making life well-being.

I am delighted to send my appreciation to the committee from Praboromarajchanok Institute and affiliated universities that helped arrange this conference. This occasion is an excellent opportunity to disseminate SKT healing Exercise to achieve the aim of Health for All, All for Health, with Sufficiency Economy.

I wish you all a successful conference.
