Boromarajonani College of Nursing Chiang Mai is a higher education institute that has high potential in producing and developing personnel with knowledge in the field of nursing and public health who have good merit and morals, caring with a heart for volunteer work, provide service with heart and humanity. Our graduates are committed to a lifelong process of learning and are prepared to step into leadership positions with good judgement and responsibility for occupational and social development.

History

Boromarajonani College of Nursing Chiang Mai was founded in 1977 (2520 BE) in order to help address health issues of mothers and children in Northern Thailand. In the beginning, the college went by the name “Nursing and Midwifery College” and was affiliated with Health Center 10 of the Department of Health, Ministry of Education. The College has been using this name until 1994 (2537 BE) when Princess Srinagarindra Boromarajonani bestowed a new name upon the college: Boromarajonani College of Nursing Chiang Mai.  The college has used this name ever since.
